Master Gardener Plant Sale and Gardening Expo
The Cypress Basin Master Gardening Association’s Annual Plant Sale and Gardening Expo is held at the Titus County AgriLife Extension Office on Industrial Boulevard in Mt Pleasant.
This is our biggest event and one just about every Master Gardener anticipates for months. Many of the Cypress Basin Master Gardeners grow plants, from seed, to sell. Others transplant and pot large perennials, herbs and shrubs they have grown at home while still others give presentations on topics like “How to Grow Great Roses” to “How To Make Rich Compost” and “Rainwater Harvesting”.
From our greenhouse and demonstration gardens to Master Gardeners on site to answer your gardening questions. We like to think we put on a smorgasbord for every gardener.
Patrons looking for garden essentials are pleased with the vendors on hand who sell outdoor furniture and decorations as well as those who sell lawn and composting equipment.
Plans are already underway for the Next Plant Sale and Expo. Hope to see you there.
The AgriLife Extension Office is on FM 1402 [1708 Industrial Rd] in between Interstate 30 and Highway 67.
