Our Yucca Bed consists of a bed bordered with railroad ties and contains a couple of examples of Yuccas. The Yucca Bed was established in 2025 and constructed as a rectangular bed with railroad ties.
This bed is new and so has too few photos available for the normal slide show of the bed and as such this web page is under construction until this message has been removed.
Please contact Sharon or Lorie for more information.

Sharon Forsyth |
Sharon became a certified Texas Master Gardener and CBMGA Master Gardener in 2026 and immediately held her hand up to get involved. She was the first person to volunteer to be part of the newly formed IT Committee, then took the lead role in the group’s attendance at the Titus County Fair, and then stepped up to be a co-bedhead of the Yucca Bed with Lorie. | A big thanks goes out to Sharon and all of the other Master Gardeners who have helped to make our Yucca bed what it is. |
Lorie Long |
Lorie became a Certified Texas Master Gardener and CBMGA Master Gardener in 2026. Lorie jumped into the scene right out of the gate by being very involved in our annual plant sale. She has now taken on the role of co-bedhead with Sharon of the Yucca Bed. | A big thanks goes out to Lorie and all of the other Master Gardeners who have helped to make our Yucca bed what it is. |
