Topic: Going Batty
Speaker/s:Lisa Egner will be presenting “Going Batty” and how it is good for you and your pets and the why and how it requires special housing….to go batty 😉
Lisa will be presenting, “Batty About Bats”. Lisa is a graduate from Texas A&M University, College Station, Texas. She has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology with extensive studies in Chemistry and Botany. She also has her Master of Science degree from Texas A&M University emphasizing science education. She is the owner of Texas Heritage Gardens, which sells bulbs, natives, and perennials. They provide plants for organizations as fundraisers. Texas Heritage Gardens has an annual Gardener’s Open House, which hosts seminars and plant sales. The program, Batty About Bats, focuses on the criteria for creating a bat garden, as well as providing the benefits of bats and information on Texas bats. She will have some plants and other items for sale following the presentation.
Social time of pot luck supper begins at 5:30pm followed by the business meeting at 6:00pm.
